Give-Me-Reds Beet Spread
This is a highly nutritious and delicious alternative to hummus. Enjoy it with Lunch Pancakes*, crackers or veggies.

Ingredients
1 Large Beet
1/3 C Raw sunflower seeds
2tbs fermented veggie Brine or salted water
2tbs Apple Cider Vinegar
1 small clove of garlic or to taste.
2 tbs olive oil
½ tsp dry paprika (optional)
½ tsp salt of to taste
Instructions
- Soak the sunflower seeds in water for 1-2 hours.
- Drain and rinse the sunflower seeds.
- Combine all the ingredients in a blender until smooth. Adjust the amount of brine (salted water) for desired consistency.
